Description

Ljusdal Municipality is now seeking a dedicated and meticulous administrator for a temporary position at the Leisure Unit's office.

You will play an important role as a contact and support for the local association life through grant administration and administrative tasks related to leisure activities.

The Leisure Unit belongs to the Environmental Sector and consists of 20 employees divided into four teams: the office in the Municipal House, Färila swimming and sports hall, sports field caretakers, and the Leisure Bank.

Ljusdal Municipality has a rich and vibrant association life that engages people of all ages. Every day, children, youth, and adults meet in various association activities – in sports, culture, and leisure. The municipality actively works to ensure that all residents, regardless of age, gender, or background, have the opportunity to participate.

Responsibilities

As an administrator with us, you will have a central role in supporting the local association life – a mission that truly makes a difference. One of your main tasks will be to process association grants. This means that you will review and follow up on submitted documents, maintain contact with associations, and prepare cases and decisions regarding grants. You will become an important link between the municipality and the association life and have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring resources reach where they are truly needed.

In addition to grant management, you will also work with financial tasks such as invoicing, coding, bookkeeping orders, and reconciling balance accounts. The role also includes other administrative tasks, such as personnel administration and support in the internal processes of the operations. You will also be responsible for lottery administration, which includes registering and recording applications for lottery permits according to applicable regulations.

The position offers varied tasks with both independent work and collaboration with engaged colleagues. It is a job where you can utilize both your attention to detail and your ability to meet people.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must have a university degree in economics or another education that we assess as equivalent. You have an interest in administrative processes and enjoy working in a structured and meticulous manner. Since the role involves financial tasks, it is important that you are proficient in using the Office suite, especially Excel. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Since some aspects of the job may involve travel within the municipality, you also need to have a B driver's license.

Previous experience in administrative work within the public sector is an advantage, as well as experience working with associations or grant administration.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, loyal, and structured. You are confident in taking responsibility, have a professional demeanor, and appreciate working both independently and collaboratively. If you also enjoy having many points of contact and feel a commitment to the local association life, you will feel at home with us.

Other
